This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Systems Analyst - Salesforce, Gainsight Admin based in the United States.
This role is responsible for owning and optimizing critical business platforms that support customer-facing operations.
You will serve as the technical owner across Salesforce, Gainsight, Pendo, and related systems, ensuring seamless integrations and reliable data flows.
The position plays a key role in enabling Client Success, Support, Onboarding, and Services teams to maximize the value of their technology ecosystem.
You will translate business needs into scalable solutions, improve workflows through automation, and support AI-driven initiatives.
Working across multiple teams, you will help maintain platform health, improve operational efficiency, and drive better customer outcomes.

- Own the administration, configuration, automation, permissions, and deployment processes for Salesforce, Gainsight, Pendo, and related business platforms.
- Partner with internal technology teams to coordinate platform updates, releases, integrations, and enterprise system improvements.
- Configure and support AI-powered capabilities, including Salesforce AI features, automated summaries, workflow enhancements, and productivity initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Manage Gainsight administration, including health scoring models, dashboards, reporting, programs, automation, and customer data accuracy.
- Maintain Salesforce-Gainsight integrations by monitoring APIs, synchronization processes, data quality, and system performance.
- Administer Pendo configurations, guides, permissions, and adoption features while analyzing usage data to improve platform engagement.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, integration challenges, and data inconsistencies while minimizing operational disruption.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and repeatable processes to improve productivity and business outcomes.
- Support the continuous evolution of the technology portfolio by adopting new platforms and maintaining relevant certifications.
- 2+ years of experience administering Salesforce and Gainsight in an enterprise environment.
- Experience configuring business applications, automation workflows, permissions, integrations, and data management processes.
- Strong understanding of APIs, data synchronization, and cross-platform system dependencies.
- Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with attention to data quality and system reliability.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and collaborating with different stakeholder groups.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Claude to improve documentation, communication, analysis, automation, or workflows.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 4+ years of enterprise systems administration experience preferred.
- Salesforce, Gainsight, Pendo, or similar platform certifications are highly valued.
- Experience with Salesforce-Gainsight integrations, customer health scoring, Journey Orchestrator (Programs), or Salesforce AI capabilities is a plus.
- Experience supporting Client Success, Support, Onboarding, Services Operations, SaaS, or commerce technology environments is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and process improvement skills.
- Competitive base salary range of $65,000 - $117,000 per year, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
- 10% discretionary annual bonus opportunity.
