Summary:
The Facilities Specialist supports the efficient operation and maintenance of MCCAA’s buildings and grounds to ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment for staff and clients. This role plays a key part in maintaining the physical integrity of agency facilities and promoting a safe and welcoming atmosphere.

Specific Duties:
Assist with facilities maintenance in compliance with applicable safety and regulatory standards.
Perform seasonal deep cleaning and maintenance, such as floor waxing, carpet cleaning, painting, and pressure washing.
Ensure facility-wide compliance with safety and health procedures.
Maintain outdoor spaces including lawns, landscaped beds, sidewalks, and parking lots to ensure safety and cleanliness.
Assist with the movement and assembly of office furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Provide regular updates to the Operations Manager regarding work orders, project progress, and maintenance needs.
Complete minor repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned.
Support larger repair and construction projects as needed.
Complete required documentation and reports related to maintenance activities.
Assist with special projects and agency-wide initiatives as directed.
Attend required meetings and training sessions to support ongoing professional development.
Promote the mission, values, and goals of the agency through all work and interactions.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education & Experience Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Two or more years of experience in facilities maintenance or general building services preferred.
Requirements: Valid Tennessee driver’s license required.
