SLEEP LAB TECH-RRT in Opp, Alabama at Mizell Memorial Hospital

The Sleep Tech II participates in a program of treatment, management, education, control diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities in sleep. Participates in other hospital and interdepartmental programs such as industrial medicine. Participates as an active member of the hospital’s customer satisfaction team. Additionally, he/she is responsible for functioning well as a member of the multidisciplinary team

1. RPSGT, RRT, LRT

2. One year certificate from college or technical school for respiratory care, nursing, or other allied health care profession.

3. 1-3 years experience is preferred, but not required.

4. 3-6 months related experience and/or training in sleep medicine preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

5. Registry or certification in sleep desired, certification in respiratory care, nursing, or other allied health care field is desired.

6. CPR/BCLS certification.

7. Basic computer skills.

8. Able to make decisions under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and manage stress, anger, potential violence of others appropriately.
