We are seeking a motivated Project Manager to join our team in support of an EHRM modernization project for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. This role reports to the Program Director and collaborates with VA client staff to support construction activities, generate reports, and serve as a client-side representative.
Responsibilities include:
- Provides project and/or construction management consultation services of a single major program or project or multiple projects.
- Provides consultation in regard to business, technical and personnel management involving multi-disciplinary and diverse functional activities.
- Is responsible for the overall management, in terms of technical quality, cost and schedule.
- Maintains daily progress reports and inspection reports.
- Supports the inspection and quality assurance team assigned to projects to ensure timely and effective project oversight.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred; equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered
- A minimum of 10 years of construction work experience may substitute for a college degree if it demonstrates the necessary competency.
- Minimum of 7years of experience in management of facility construction projects including supervision of engineering, design, and construction, schedule control, cost management, and program budgeting, and overall project management activities.
- Professional experience should include the ability to read and interpret construction documents, as well as communicate effectively with construction team members
- Experience supporting regulated environments (federal, healthcare, or institutional) is highly desirable
- Candidates may be asked to provide examples or documentation of completed projects demonstrating relevant experience
The pay range for this role is:
110,000 - 130,000 USD per year(Brooklyn, NY)
