Media Supervisor, Media and Engagement

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Media Supervisor, Media and Engagement based in United States.

The Media Supervisor, Media and Engagement will lead the development and execution of integrated media strategies that drive measurable outcomes for healthcare and pharmaceutical clients. This role combines strategic planning, media buying expertise, client partnership, and team leadership within a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will manage multi-channel campaigns, optimize performance, and provide strategic recommendations that align with client goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful media solutions while mentoring junior talent and sharing best practices. Accountabilities:

The Media Supervisor will oversee media strategy, planning, buying, and execution across multiple client accounts while ensuring campaigns are delivered effectively, on time, and within budget. The role requires strong collaboration with internal teams, clients, and external partners to maximize campaign impact and continuously improve media performance.

  • Develop and execute integrated media plans aligned with client objectives, audience insights, and business goals.
  • Lead media buying activities across channels including programmatic, endemic, CTV/video, television, radio, digital out-of-home, and out-of-home platforms.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, presenting media recommendations, performance insights, and optimization opportunities.
  • Manage campaign budgets, insertion orders, timelines, financial reporting, and vendor relationships.
  • Partner with account, strategy, planning, operations, creative, and analytics teams to deliver cohesive media solutions.
  • Monitor campaign performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement optimization strategies.
  • Mentor junior team members by providing guidance, reviewing work, and supporting professional development.
  • Stay informed on emerging media trends, tools, and technologies to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Support new business initiatives through media strategy development, research, and recommendations.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced media professional with strong strategic thinking, client management capabilities, and hands-on expertise in media planning and buying. They should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, communicating complex recommendations, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in media planning and buying.
  • Proven experience developing and executing multi-channel media campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of media strategy, planning, buying processes, vendor negotiations, and campaign execution.
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, financial documentation, and campaign reporting.
  • Ability to confidently present recommendations and performance insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with media research and planning platforms such as SRDS, Kantar, Nielsen, or similar tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or related agency environments.
  • Familiarity with digital media platforms and analytics tools such as Looker Studio or comparable reporting solutions.
  • Experience mentoring team members and reviewing media plans and campaign documentation.
  • Experience contributing to strategic initiatives and client growth opportunities.
