Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist with strong HR coordination skills to support full-cycle recruiting while contributing to key HR operations. This hybrid role is responsible for attracting top talent, ensuring a seamless candidate experience, and supporting onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (80%):
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, educate leaders on recruitment processes and hiring best practices, and develop effective recruitment strategies
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines using sourcing tools, job boards, networking events and college fairs, and AI-enabled recruiting technologies
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interview processes
- Ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle
- Leverage applicant tracking systems, recruiting technologies, and AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency, candidate management, and hiring outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all hiring policies and employment regulations
- Establish and maintain consistent recruiting practices, processes, and standards across the organization
- Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing efforts
- Track and report recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, etc.), using data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
HR Coordination & Support (20%):
- Coordinate and execute the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, onboarding schedules, employment documentation, HRIS data entry, and first-day logistics.
- Partner with hiring managers, new employees, and key stakeholders to deliver a seamless and compliant onboarding experience, serving as a resource throughout the onboarding process and ensuring timely completion of required materials, communications, and onboarding activities.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including record maintenance, reporting, and special projects as needed
- Collaborate with other locations to support consistent onboarding practices and employee communications
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or an equivalent amount of experience)
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience across multiple functions and organizational levels
- Strong knowledge of talent acquisition practices, recruitment processes, and candidate engagement strategies
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and recruiting technologies
- Excellent communication, customer service, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively balance recruitment and onboarding activities in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience through proactive communication and responsive support
- Experience supporting a sales organization
- High level of discretion when handling confidential information
Technical Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook calendar and Excel
- Ability to navigate through various HR systems
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus
Work Environment:
This role is hybrid and operates in a collaborative HR environment with frequent interaction across departments. It may require balancing recruitment timelines with ongoing HR administrative support.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. It is important to Calero that potential candidates for this position understand that compensation depends on numerous factors including the geographic location where the role will be performed, skills required, experience, complexity, travel, and market rate. Calero aims to reward performance and attract top talent with competitive, fair pay and benefits. Please note that the top of the salary range represents exceptional, and/or senior-level positions, that meet all required qualifications. Actual offers take candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience into account. Base Pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.
