The Lead Storeroom Clerk performs the essential duties of a Storeroom Clerk while serving as the primary point person for daily storeroom workflow, communication, and issue escalation. This role helps coordinate day-to-day activities, supports consistent processes, assists with onboarding and training of storeroom staff, and helps ensure supplies are received, stocked, picked, delivered, and documented accurately. This position is not a supervisory or formal leadership role and does not include authority for hiring, corrective action, performance management, or scheduling decisions unless specifically directed by management.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services. ICARE standards must be demonstrated. Adherence to Code of Conduct and other policies is required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, reliability and initiative
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers and team members
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare supply chain environment
- Familiarity with inventory systems, par management, cycle counting, supply distribution, and routine problem resolution
- Ability to support peers without direct supervisory authority
License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
- Class C Illinois (or equivalent) Driver's License preferred
PAY STATUS
- Non-exempt hourly
