Function of Position:
The EOP Resident Director position will begin on July 19, 2026 (move-in date) and end on August 7, 2026 (move-out date). This position will assist the EOP Summer Residential Program, receiving direct Supervision from EOP and Housing and Residence Life, and oversee the EOP Resident Assistants and participating students during this time.
This agreement will outline the policies and guidelines for the position.
*This is a part-time position.
Examples of Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serve as person in charge in the Residence Halls after hours during the summer program.
- Provide orientation, training, supervision, and regular evaluation of approximately 3-4 Resident Assistants o Includes training for RAs that consists of Title IX content and what to do in an emergency
- Create and manage on-call schedule for RAs after business hours
- Assist EOP Director/Police/Public Safety to investigate and resolve student conduct issues.
- Offer assistance and positive role modeling to EOP students. o This may include field trips away from MCC campus
- Abide by all of the MCC College and Housing and Residence Life policies
- Attend all scheduled staff meetings, on time and for the complete duration
- Attend all of the hours on the dates/times you are scheduled to work, on time Unless you have a class obligation, it is the EOP RD's responsibility to talk with the EOP Director (Charlene Linzy) if there is a conflict and you will miss a meeting.
- Find coverage for all of the hours on the dates/times you are scheduled to work but may have a conflict.
- EOP RD will need to give the EOP Director (Charlene Linzy) at least 48 hours' notice if unable to make a check-in or another EOP RD commitment.
- Complete all tasks assigned, thoroughly and on time.
- Check your MCC email at least 1x per day - you are responsible for the information provided to you via email.
- Communicate with the EOP Director as needed regarding any concerns or schedule changes.

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Earned bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited higher education institution
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently
Additional Information:
Salary: Hourly rate, $29.
This position is a part-time hourly position, and the schedule is determined by the department.
