About Caribbean Global School

About the role
At Caribbean Global School we aim to promote an artistic environment where students find the means to develop their creativity, critical thinking and self-expression while building an appreciation for the arts. We are seeking for teachers who keep up with current trends in the arts and are able to collaborate with the integration of arts into interdisciplinary projects.
What you'll do
You will be working with students from 6th to 12th grade; teaching art as a core subject and/or as an elective.
Qualifications
Academic Qualifications
University Degree:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Humanities, Arts, or a related field.
- Preferably, a Master's degree in Education, Arts, or a related area.
Teaching Certification:
- Valid teaching certification or license to teach at the secondary education level, according to local regulations.
- Specific certification may be required or preferred.
Professional Experience
Teaching Experience:
- Previous experience teaching visual arts, ideally in a school setting.
- Experience in planning and executing lesson plans; experience in IB curriculum preferred.
Curriculum Knowledge:
- Familiarity with educational standards and the curriculum for Arts.
- Experience using educational resources and technologies to enhance learning.
