Gold Coast Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time medical receptionist to join our Lake Worth team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates pursuing careers in physical therapy, healthcare administration, medical assisting, or other allied health professions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a friendly, professional manner
• Collect patient financial responsibility payments, including copays, coinsurance and deductibles
• Accurately enter and update patient demographic and insurance information in the EMR system
• Schedule, confirm and manage patient appointments
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding scheduling and patient needs
• Coordinate with insurance and billing departments to resolve patient account questions and issues
• Maintain a positive and welcoming front office environment

Schedule Requirements: Candidates must be available to work within the following hours of operation:

• Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Qualifications

• Previous medical office or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus
• Interest in healthcare or rehabilitation services encouraged
