The Silkscreen Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining silkscreen printing equipment to apply coatings, patterns, and finishes to glass components used in appliance manufacturing. This role ensures high-quality, consistent output while adhering to safety, quality, and production standards.

1. Set up, operate, and adjust silkscreen printing machines for glass panels and components
2. Apply paints, inks, and coatings to glass surfaces according to specifications and production requirements
3. Prepare screens, stencils, and materials for production runs
4. Monitor print quality, alignment, and adhesion throughout the process
5. Inspect finished products for defects such as misalignment, smudging, or uneven coating
6. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of silkscreen equipment and work areas
7. Mix paints and coatings to required specifications, ensuring consistency and proper viscosity
8. Troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments to minimize downtime
9. Follow all safety procedures when handling glass, chemicals, and equipment
10. Maintain accurate production records and report any quality or mechanical issues

1. High school diploma or equivalent required
2. Previous experience in silkscreen printing, glass manufacturing, or a related production environment preferred
3. Familiarity with industrial printing equipment and processes
4. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery
5. Ability to read and interpret work orders, specifications, and production schedules

• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
