ABOUT THE ROLE

The Financial Applications Administrator manages the effective resolution of end-user needs, including technical issues and user inquiries. Provides support for various Finance systems, including Emburse Chrome River, Xcelerate Budgeting & Forecasting, Cosine Matter Planning, and Elite 3E. Participates in the strategic planning and execution of the firm's technology roadmap for Finance and business intelligence systems. Conducts system audits and assessments, recommends improvements to existing systems and business processes, and assists in the development and implementation of approved solutions. Interfaces with vendors regarding product information, support, and future direction. Collaborates with managers, attorneys, and staff at all levels of the firm. Ensures high levels of client service and user satisfaction across all areas of responsibility.

Client Service
  • Ensure internal and external clients receive exemplary, seamless support in all aspects of the position.
  • Proactively communicate with clients to ensure needs are met.
  • Review and enhance client service procedures and standards.
Management of Finance Systems End User Needs
  • Provide responsive, customer-focused support to troubleshoot issues and respond to user inquiries.
  • Perform quality assurance by replicating, documenting, and escalating system issues as needed.
  • Manage vendor relationships to resolve system issues and implement enhancements.
  • Support the month-end close process for the Finance Time & Billing system.
Project Management for Finance Systems Upgrades and Enhancements
  • Partner with the Financial Systems Administrator to plan, test, and implement Finance system upgrades with minimal disruption to users.
  • Coordinate with vendors to support testing, issue resolution, and successful deployment of upgrades and enhancements.
  • Manage testing schedules, develop test scripts with end users, and oversee quality assurance activities.
  • Document, track, and resolve upgrade and enhancement issues through implementation.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Financial Systems and Project Implementation on rollout planning, communications, testing coordination, and vendor follow-up.
  • Manage user enhancement requests from submission through testing and production deployment.
Development and Training to Finance End Users
  • Develop and deliver training to ensure Finance users are proficient in Finance systems.
  • Respond to user questions and issues related to the Elite system.
  • Train and support Super Users and provide guidance on complex system issues.
  • Identify process improvements and recommend solutions to optimize system utilization.
Data Integrity
  • Partner with Finance users and managers to develop and maintain scripts that support data integrity and identify root causes of data issues.
  • Collaborate with Information Technology Financial Systems to develop and execute maintenance programs and data integrity processes.Special Projects
  • Support Finance-related projects in collaboration with Financial Applications team members.
  • Partner with Finance managers and the Lead Financial Report Analyst to deliver reporting and analytical solutions.
  • Assist in developing tools and processes that improve financial analysis and reporting efficiency.

ABOUT YOU

  • 45 years of experience supporting legal financial systems, such as Elite Enterprise, 3E, Aderant, Fulcrum, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Chrome River administration experience preferred.
  • Advanced SQL Server skills, including data analysis, high-volume imports, updates, and data management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial applications, databases, systems analysis, and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with web-based and client-server application environments.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization while maintaining strict confidentiality and professional integrity.

Where required by law, salary ranges are stated below. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: local market data and ranges; an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience; and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications. Per Colorado law, this posting includes an anticipated application deadline of November 28, 2026. The position may close earlier if a suitable candidate is identified.

San Francisco, Palo Alto salary range: $128k to $179k

Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego salary range: $122k to $169k

Denver salary range: $114k to $159k
