Job Description

Schedule

This is a part-time position with the following schedule:

Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients in a professional, respectful, and welcoming manner.
  • Escort patients to appropriate rooms and assist with patient flow.
  • Obtain and document basic vital signs, including:
    • Blood pressure
    • Oxygen saturation
    • Pulse
    • Other routine vitals as directed
  • Prepare patient rooms before and after visits.
  • Ensure rooms are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
  • Open medication packaging for patients when needed so the patient may self-administer medication, in accordance with Beacon Behavioral Health policies and clinical direction.
  • Communicate patient needs, concerns, or changes to appropriate clinical staff.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow privacy standards at all times.
  • Follow infection control, safety, and office procedures.
  • Assist with light office or clinical support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in a medical office, behavioral health office, patient care, CNA, medical assistant, or similar role preferred.
  • Ability to take and record basic vital signs.
  • Comfortable working with behavioral health patients in a calm and respectful manner.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work the required Friday and Saturday schedule.
  • Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
