This senior leadership role is responsible for driving strategic revenue growth across the State Health and Human Services (HHS) market, with a strong focus on Medicaid and public sector health programs. You will define and execute sales strategies that expand technology-enabled health solutions, build long-term client relationships, and position offerings within complex government procurement environments. The role requires a blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution, with accountability for pipeline development, deal closure, and revenue performance. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership, operations, product, and finance teams to align market needs with solution development and pricing strategies. Operating in a mission-driven environment, you will help shape how technology and services improve health outcomes for populations across the country. This is a high-impact, highly visible role with significant influence on organizational growth.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute state-level sales strategies and account plans to drive growth within the State HHS and Medicaid market.
  • Own revenue targets and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through deal closure and client retention.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including state agencies, Medicaid organizations, and public sector partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining a strong, qualified sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to identify cross-sell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Partner with marketing, product, operations, and finance teams to align offerings, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and client needs to refine sales strategy and positioning.
  • Track, forecast, and report on sales performance, pipeline health, and revenue progress to executive leadership.
  • Support solution development discussions to ensure alignment with evolving Medicaid and HHS requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable healthcare regulations in all sales activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven success in senior sales leadership roles within the State HHS, Medicaid, or public sector healthcare market.
  • Strong understanding of Medicaid programs, HHS regulations, and government procurement processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed complex revenue targets in enterprise or public sector environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate market insights into actionable sales plans.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, operations, finance, and marketing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with CRM and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to manage long, complex sales cycles and navigate government contracting environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% as required.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: $162,100 – $220,000 annually.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Retirement savings programs with employer contributions.
  • Paid time off, holidays, and flexible work arrangements (remote within the United States).
  • Corporate wellness programs and employee assistance resources.
  • Professional development and education assistance opportunities.
  • Additional corporate discounts and employee benefits programs.
  • Opportunity to lead high-impact initiatives improving public health outcomes nationwide.
