About Hometown NP

Hometown NP is a Joint Commission–accredited virtual telepsychiatry platform delivering mental health care across 39+ states. We’re building the technology backbone that lets clinicians reach patients anywhere. We’re looking for a skilled full stack engineer to help us build and scale that platform.

Full Stack Engineer (Remote / Contract) — Hometown NP

The Role
This is a fully remote contract position. You’ll own features end-to-end — from database to UI — and help us build secure, scalable, HIPAA-conscious healthcare software.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain web applications across the full stack
• Develop responsive front-end interfaces and robust back-end services
• Integrate APIs, EHR/practice-management systems, and third-party healthcare tools
• Apply AI/automation where it improves clinical and operational workflows
• Write clean, scalable, well-documented code

Tech We Use / Want

• Front end: React and/or Angular
• Back end: Java and/or Python
• Plus: REST APIs, cloud deployment, AI/ML integration experience a strong plus

You’re a Fit If You Have

• 3–5+ years of full stack development experience
• A portfolio or GitHub showing scalable, production-grade work
• Strong communication and the ability to work independently across time zones
• Bonus: prior experience in healthcare, telehealth, or HIPAA-regulated environments

Compensation
$500–$1,000/month (commission rate, based on experience and hours)
