Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Creative Strategist (Paid Social) based in India.
This is a performance-focused creative strategy role centered on paid social advertising, with Meta as the primary channel.
You’ll turn customer insights, advertising data, and consumer psychology into concepts that capture attention and drive measurable conversions.
Your responsibilities will span creative ideation, direct-response copy, performance analysis, testing, and detailed creative briefing.
You’ll work closely with designers, video editors, UGC creators, and performance marketing specialists to bring winning concepts to life.
While the role also contributes to landing pages, website messaging, and organic content, paid advertising performance remains the core priority.
You’ll have the autonomy to test ideas, identify opportunities, and continuously improve the creative system based on evidence rather than personal preference.
It’s an ideal environment for a commercially minded strategist who combines creativity with analytical thinking and thrives in a fast-moving DTC setting.
- Develop high-performing paid social concepts, hooks, angles, scripts, and creative ideas primarily for Meta campaigns.
- Write persuasive direct-response copy across both short- and long-form advertising formats, applying frameworks such as AIDA and PAS.
- Analyse ad account performance, winning creative patterns, competitor approaches, emerging trends, and audience behaviour to identify opportunities for iteration.
- Translate performance insights into detailed, actionable briefs for designers, video editors, and UGC creators.
- Test, iterate, and optimise creative assets based on measurable performance data, prioritising conversion and commercial outcomes.
- Identify and replicate winning creative structures while developing meaningful variations for ongoing testing.
- Present regular creative performance reports with clear insights and recommendations for future testing.
- Maintain an organised creative pipeline, briefing process, testing roadmap, and supporting internal workflows.
- Contribute to landing-page messaging and structure for paid campaigns, helping improve the customer journey and conversion potential.
- Provide creative direction for website and product-page content and contribute to organic social strategy where relevant.
- Help maintain consistent messaging and creative direction across the broader customer journey.
- Collaborate closely with performance marketing, design, video, and content teams to ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
- 2+ years of experience in direct-response creative strategy for DTC e-commerce, gained in-house, at an agency, or as a freelancer.
- Strong hands-on understanding of Meta Ads, particularly within high-volume creative testing environments.
- Proven experience creating detailed creative briefs and directing designers, video editors, and UGC creators.
- Ability to analyse advertising performance data and translate findings into actionable creative recommendations.
- Strong direct-response copywriting skills and knowledge of proven conversion frameworks.
- Deep understanding of DTC consumer psychology, buyer motivations, attention triggers, and scroll-stopping principles.
- Highly data-driven approach, with the ability to prioritise performance outcomes over subjective creative preferences.
- Clear and fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and take ownership of deliverables.
- Proactive, commercially minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable working at speed while maintaining quality.
- Experience in health, wellness, supplements, or beauty is advantageous.
- Experience with UGC casting or creator management is a plus.
- Familiarity with Meta Ad Library, Triple Whale, Foreplay, Motion, or similar tools is beneficial.
- Landing-page optimisation/CRO experience and basic video editing skills using tools such as CapCut or Premiere are additional advantages.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant paid social advertising work is required.
- Availability for a minimum of four hours of daily overlap with UK/GMT working hours is required.
- Fully remote working arrangement with flexibility around UK/GMT hours.
- Minimum four-hour daily overlap with UK working hours.
- Independent contractor structure with a competitive rate based on experience.
- Paid time off, including UK bank holidays.
- Creative freedom to test new concepts and take ownership of creative performance.
- Direct collaboration with founders and the wider marketing team.
- Opportunity to influence the creative direction and growth of a fast-moving DTC business.
- Work within a performance-oriented environment where data and experimentation drive decision-making.
- Opportunity to contribute to products focused on health and wellbeing.
- Global applications welcome.
