POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the VP of FP&A, the Sr Manager, Treasury Operations & Risk Management will be responsible for leading the company’s treasury operations, liquidity management, cash positioning, banking relationships, and corporate risk management activities. The ideal candidate will exercise their strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focusing on optimizing banking infrastructure and cash management processes, maintaining strong treasury controls, managing short-term liquidity and investments and administering debt facilities. The Sr. Manager; Treasury Operations & Risk Management will oversee the company’s insurance programs by assessing insurance needs and exposures, maintaining appropriate coverage, and consistently evaluating insurance programs to ensure coverage remains aligned with the company’s evolving risk profile while balancing coverage, cost, and risk retention. The ideal candidate will lean into their strong communication skills, translating financial information into actionable recommendations for senior leadership. The Sr. Manager; Treasury Operations & Risk Management will have a demonstrated track record of driving process improvements, implementing treasury technologies and controls, and operating effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment, including supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses and changing financial requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage banking relationships and support the implementation of treasury technologies, services, and process improvements, with a focus on improving efficiency, strengthening controls, and reducing banking and transaction costs
  • Establish and maintain a strong internal control environment over treasury activities, including bank signatories, user access, segregation of duties, payment authorization controls, and related policies and procedures
  • Ensure cash disbursements are properly authorized, accurate, appropriately supported, and recorded in accordance with company policies, including reviewing, approving, and releasing payments through banking platforms as part of established pay cycles
  • Lead short-term liquidity forecasting and cash positioning activities to ensure adequate liquidity across the organization while optimizing returns on excess cash
  • Develop and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast, analyze forecast-to-actual results, identify emerging liquidity or funding needs, and recommend timely actions to management
  • Manage ongoing administration of the company’s debt facilities, including monitoring borrowing availability, interest payments, maturity requirements, and other contractual obligations
  • Manage short-term investment activities and available cash balances, evaluating investment alternatives based on liquidity requirements, counterparty exposure, market conditions, and risk considerations to ensure funds are appropriately positioned
  • Lead insurance renewals in partnership with internal stakeholders, brokers, and carriers, including evaluation of coverage alternatives, limits, deductibles, pricing, and policy terms and conditions
  • Oversee the claims management process and coordinate with brokers, carriers, legal counsel, and business leaders as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in treasury, cash management, corporate finance, or related discipline
  • Strong working knowledge of treasury operations, banking infrastructure, cash management, financial instruments, credit facilities, and treasury best practices
  • Demonstrated expertise in liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and development of short-term cash forecasts, including rolling 13-week cash flow models
  • Experience managing banking relationships, payment processes, treasury controls, and cash security, including segregation of duties, user access, and payment authorization controls
  • Working knowledge of debt facilities, short-term investments, interest rate exposure, and related treasury risk considerations Advanced proficiency with Excel and financial modeling
  • Experience managing or supporting corporate insurance programs, including renewals, coverage evaluation, and claims
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex financial modeling, data analysis, and use of advanced formulas and functions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience working in a private equity-backed environment, with an understanding of expectations related to cash generation, liquidity, leverage, operational discipline, and value creation
  • Experience with leveraged credit facilities, lender relationships, and debt administration
  • Experience with treasury management systems, banking platforms, or treasury technology implementations
  • CTP, CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional designation is a plus
