The Banking Business Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, configuring, supporting, and improving key banking systems and customer-facing digital applications. This role partners with business lines, operations, IT, vendors, and client-facing teams to deliver reliable systems, enhance product functionality, improve internal and external client experience, and support operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and support core banking systems, item processing platforms, loan and deposit applications, and customer-facing digital channels, including online banking, mobile banking, ACH processing system (PEP+), remote deposit capture, and positive pay.

· Partner with business lines, operations, IT, vendors, and client-facing teams to understand business needs, customer feedback, system issues, and product opportunities.

· Develop, document, and maintain business and functional requirements for system changes, enhancements, integrations, and product improvements.

· Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, changes, testing results, and support processes.

· Configure systems and manage business-as-usual changes in accordance with operational, compliance, security, and change management expectations.

· Coordinate test planning, test script development, user acceptance testing, and full-cycle validation for system and product changes.

· Identify operational, compliance, security, and customer-impact risks, and work with business partners to mitigate or resolve them.

· Lead product management activities for customer-facing applications, including defining product goals, gathering voice-of-customer feedback, maintaining feature backlogs, prioritizing enhancements, and aligning releases with business objectives and client impact.

· Support the development, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of technologies and tools that improve operational efficiency, usability, adoption, and customer experience.

· Monitor application performance, usage trends, support themes, and client feedback to identify improvement opportunities and reduce friction in the digital banking experience.

· Create process documentation, project content, training materials, and implementation support resources for end-users and stakeholders.

· Participate in and lead activities across analysis, requirements, design, testing, training, release management, implementation, and post-release support.

· Communicate clearly with business and technology stakeholders to align priorities, manage expectations, and support successful delivery.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

· Experience as a business systems administrator, product owner, business analyst, or similar role within the banking or financial services industry.

· Strong understanding of banking operations, compliance requirements, system administration, digital banking applications, and customer-facing product management practices.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management, and technical troubleshooting skills.

· Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Proficiency with business analysis, requirements gathering, testing, release coordination, and process documentation methodologies.

· Ability to take initiative, prioritize work, manage deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate professionally across teams and vendors.

Work Location Requirement This position is designated as remote; however, if you reside within a 50-mile radius of one of our office locations, the role will be considered in-office and not eligible for remote work.
