Job Description:
Responsibilities

The Senior Vice President, Global Channel Sales & Alliances will lead the strategy, execution, and growth of Octave's global partner ecosystem, driving recurring revenue, market expansion, and customer success across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. As a member of the go-to-market leadership team, this executive will build and scale a world-class channel program that includes resellers, managed service providers (MSPs), global system integrators (GSIs), and strategic technology alliance partners.

This leader will bring a strategic, data-driven approach to developing high-value partnerships that accelerate SaaS growth, expand market reach, and create differentiated customer value. Success in this role requires executive presence, proven enterprise sales leadership, and the ability to transform channel relationships into strategic growth engines capable of driving complex, eight-figure annual contract value opportunities.

Channel Strategy & Growth

Lead the development and execution of a global channel and ecosystem strategy aligned with business objectives, customer segments, and product offerings. Partner closely with regional sales leaders to expand routes to market, generate pipeline, and drive sustained double-digit revenue growth. Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that create differentiated value propositions, unlock greenfield and whitespace opportunities, and strengthen Octave's market position.

Partner Ecosystem Leadership

Build and strengthen relationships with key global and regional partners, including resellers, MSPs, GSIs, and technology alliance providers. Establish joint business plans, co-selling motions, and shared growth objectives that drive measurable results for both organizations. Foster partner accountability through enablement, certification, marketing participation, industry events, and joint market development activities.

Revenue & Performance Management

Own global channel revenue, pipeline growth, and partner performance across all regions. Develop scalable performance frameworks, forecasting processes, and operational metrics that provide visibility and accountability. Drive strategies that improve partner engagement, optimize channel investments, and expand access to large enterprise opportunities through coordinated direct and indirect selling motions.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations to align go-to-market priorities and deliver an integrated partner experience. Champion strategic account planning initiatives that leverage the channel ecosystem to penetrate targeted enterprise accounts and pursue large-scale growth opportunities. Support the development of scalable processes that simplify partner engagement and accelerate revenue generation.

Leadership & Team Development

Lead and develop a high-performing global team of channel leaders and partner managers. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and results. Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership while representing the channel organization internally and externally. Create strong alignment between direct sales and partner-led motions, ensuring both contribute effectively to Octave's long-term growth strategy.

Education / Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive sales and channel leadership experience in a global SaaS or software organization.
• Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing channel ecosystems that deliver measurable (double digit) revenue growth.
• Deep understanding of SaaS business models, subscription economics, and cloud GTM motions.
• Experience leading large global teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to build credibility and influence at the C-suite level—both internally and with partners. Proven global negotiation skills for with channel providers and end customers where deals might move between the channel and direct.
• Demonstrated ability to use analytics and business intelligence to drive decisions and optimize performance.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
