About the Role:
The Manufacturing Machine Operator plays a critical role in the production process by efficiently operating and maintaining machinery used in manufacturing pine boards. This position ensures that machines run smoothly, safely, and at optimal capacity to meet production targets and quality standards. The operator is responsible for monitoring machine performance, making necessary adjustments, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to prevent defects and maintain a safe working environment. Ultimately, the role contributes directly to the company’s ability to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery or in a related industrial environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to understand machine operation manuals.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with quality control processes and tools.
- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting and repair techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machines according to production schedules and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Inspect finished products for quality and report any deviations or defects to supervisors.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues to minimize production delays.
- Maintain accurate production records and report machine performance data.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve production processes and efficiency.
