We’re Hiring: Maintenance Technician

Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys keeping equipment running safely and efficiently? We’re looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations by performing routine and emergency maintenance in a metal manufacturing environment.
This role is ideal for someone who values safety, enjoys learning from experienced technicians, and takes pride in maintaining reliable equipment that supports production and quality standards.
What You’ll Be DoingPerform routine preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns across CNC machines, presses, and facility systems
Follow and enforce all company safety policies, including PPE and lockout/tagout procedures
Work closely with the Maintenance Lead Man for hands-on training and guidance
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications to improve production efficiency
Identify and report abnormal equipment conditions discovered during PMs
Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work completed and parts usage
Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with 5S and ISO 9001 standards
Your work will directly impact machine reliability, safety, and overall production performance.
What We’re Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred
2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in metal manufacturing
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Experience with CNC machinery and preventive maintenance programs
Willingness to follow instructions, ask questions, and learn from senior staff
Familiarity with ISO 9001 principles and documentation practices is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in hot, loud, confined, or elevated environments
Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and use of hand and power tools
Exposure to grease, metal shavings, and industrial equipment
