Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, skilled Full-Time Maintenance Technician to help keep our properties equipment maintained, and building systems safe, functional, and well maintained. This role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and general upkeep while responding promptly and professionally to service needs.
Essential Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, fixtures, and common areas.
- Diagnose and complete basic repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, appliances, and general facilities.
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly, prioritize urgent issues, and communicate repair status clearly.
- Inspect the property regularly to identify safety concerns, damage, wear, or needed improvements.
- Complete assigned work orders accurately and document labor, materials, and follow-up needs.
- Maintain tools, parts, maintenance areas, and inventory in a clean, organized, and secure condition.
- Assist with equipment installation, seasonal maintenance, grounds upkeep, and special projects. Snow plowing experience is a plus.
- Follow safety procedures, building codes, manufacturer instructions, and company policies.
- Participate in an on-call or emergency-response rotation when required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in facilities, property, hotel, apartment, industrial, or commercial maintenance preferred.
- Working knowledge of hand and power tools and basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems, follow instructions, and complete work independently.
- Strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and a service-focused attitude.
- Basic ability to use a phone, email, and electronic work-order system.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
- Relevant trade licenses or certifications are a plus but are not required unless specified by local law or the employer.
- As you will be operating company-owned vehicles, those with alcohol-related violations cannot be considered.
- Background check will be required.
This is a full-time position with a regular schedule that may include occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, or emergency call-ins based on operational needs. Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and applicable law. Benefit eligibility and specific pay details will be discussed during the hiring process.
Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, and safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. The role may require working in tight spaces and using appropriate personal protective equipment.
