Job Title: Order Picking Specialist
Reports to: DC Fulfillment Manager
FLSA Status: Full-time; Non-Exempt

Purpose:
Order Picking Specialists play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of Consumer Direct, Wholesale, and Major Account orders. Working closely with the picking team, DC Fulfillment Manager, Supervisors, and Leads, you will contribute to meeting daily goals and maintaining operational excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities – Order Picking
- Utilize Order Warehouse Management System to accurately pick and process orders.
- Develop a thorough understanding of picking screens, aisle numbering systems, and order processing procedures.
- Follow established guidelines for picking Wholesale and Consumer Direct orders.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance speed and accuracy.

Additional Responsibilities
- Support other Distribution Center (DC) functions as needed, including but not limited to:
- Packing Wholesale orders
- Casing Consumer Direct orders
- Box assembly and preparation
- Shipping operations
- Replenishment and inventory restocking
- Inbound receiving of new products
- Special projects as assigned by the Operations Manager, DC Supervisors, or Leads

Skills & Knowledge Required:
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to read with good comprehension and precise mathematical skills
• Must be a self-starter, results-oriented, and a team player
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent skills managing multiple competing priorities daily
• Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills
• Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills
• Competent with computer software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to utilize the in-house ERP and OWMS software systems within 60-days of employment

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
• Viewing computer terminal, perceiving, and transcribing data with accuracy and keyboarding in a warehouse environment
• Work can require walking while carrying objects, stooping, kneeling, crouching, as well as grasping objects, and reaching with hands and arms
• Light work: Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• The employee is often required to stand and walk throughout the entire day
• Reliable physical attendance is required
• The employee is required to stay awake throughout the shift
