Machine Operator - Swiss in Coatesville, Pennsylvania at CNC Manufacturing Inc

The 37,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled facility in Coatesville, PA features some of the industry’s most technologically advanced machining and quality control equipment. We currently have a first shift opening in our Swiss Department. We are looking for an entry level to intermediate candidate with zero to three years of machine shop experience. If you have a strong mechanical background, a willingness to learn the trade, and attention to detail - you owe it to yourself to apply!

Training will be provided. Base hourly wage depends on experience and skill level.

• Beginner - $20-$25/hr.
• Intermediate - $26-28/hr.

A CNC Machine Operator will know or be taught:

• Read and understand blueprints and job instructions
• Understand raw stock identification and preparation
• Run jobs as programmed with the ability to change/adjust machine offsets
• Modify tooling for job use
• Understand safe positions, absolute-machine-relative coordinates
• Understand X+/-, Y+/-, C+/- and B+/-
• Perform SPC (Statistical Process Control) measurements
• Perform basic maintenance on machine and fixtures
• Maintain a clean, organized, & safe work area; comply with all Safety and ISO standards
• Communicate well, follow instructions, and be responsible for personal performance
• Other Level 2 operator duties as required
