We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant unarmed Security Officer to join our team on a seasonal/temporary/flexible basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of a local healthcare center

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.

• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies.

• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.

• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.

• Manage conflicts effectively and de-escalate potentially volatile situations.

• Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed.

• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary.

• Document incidents accurately and maintain detailed reports.

• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism.

Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.

• Knowledge of conflict management techniques is essential.

• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with surveillance equipment (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is a plus.

• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.

• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
