ABOUT THE ROLE

As Senior Project Buyer, you are the single point of contact for Purchasing within cross-functional program teams representing purchasing strategy and targets from sourcing decision through launch. You own the purchasing-related material cost, timing, and quality targets for your assigned programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Team Representation: Act as the single point of contact for Purchasing within cross-functional program teams.
Supplier Selection & Sourcing Decisions: Coordinate supplier selection for assigned programs.
Cost, Timing & Quality Ownership: Own achievement of project material cost targets and milestones.
Cross-Functional Coordination with Commodity Buyers, Supplier Quality, and Material Group Management.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project purchasing documentation and status reports.
Risk & Escalation Management: Identify and escalate supply risks.
Launch Coordination for purchased materials, parts, and tooling.
Compliance & Materials Data reporting and policy adherence.
Stakeholder Communication throughout the project lifecycle.

WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
5-7+ years of purchasing/program buying experience in automotive industry.
Knowledge of APQP, PPAP and IMDS.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent programs.
Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
Fluent in Spanish a plus.
