Establish and lead cross-functional Change Control Boards (CCBs) and manage Change Board meetings.
Coordinate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders for the Design Standard (ECOs) across programs and product variants.
Maintain configuration identification, change control, status accounting, and document control processes.
Ensure accurate configuration baselines and full traceability across specifications, drawings, contracts, and product variants.
Monitor configuration items throughout their lifecycle to ensure consistency and compliance.
Oversee design, software, and hardware configuration setup and release processes.
Conduct configuration audits and resolve discrepancies.
Raise, own and maintain Configuration Management Plans (CMPs).
Act as the primary authority for configuration status accounting and reporting.
Drive improvements in Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
Ensure CM tools and processes are scalable and effective.
Provide CM training and support to internal teams.
Collaborate closely with engineering and operational stakeholders to ensure smooth change implementation.
Represent Configuration Management in customer and audit interactions when required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Sciences, or equivalent industry experience.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
Strong background in Configuration Management, Configuration Analysis, or Engineering Change Management.
Experience with design and drawing release and engineering change processes (ECR/ECO).
Deep understanding of configuration control, version control, and change management principles.
Experience in product lifecycle and technical documentation management.
Familiarity with AS9100 / EN 9100 standards.
Experience working with ERP, PDM, or PLM systems.
Strong process documentation and workflow design skills.
