Senior Analyst Market and Customer Analytics

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Analyst Market and Customer Analytics based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of data, category strategy, and business decision-making, transforming complex market and customer datasets into clear, actionable insights that guide brand and category growth. You will work closely with Marketing, eCommerce, IT, and external data providers to ensure high-quality data integration, governance, and reporting across the organization. The position plays a key role in building and maintaining dashboards, analytics tools, and reporting frameworks that support strategic decisions at scale. You will be responsible for harmonizing syndicated and internal data sources to create a unified view of performance across channels. In this highly collaborative environment, your work will directly influence category strategy, commercial priorities, and business outcomes. This is a fast-paced, insight-driven role for someone who enjoys translating data complexity into clear business impact.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that deliver accurate and actionable insights to support category and brand growth.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear narratives, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities for business stakeholders.
  • Manage data integration and harmonization across multiple sources, including syndicated and internal datasets, to build unified omni-channel reporting structures.
  • Execute and improve data governance processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting systems and databases.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, eCommerce, IT, and external vendors to improve data quality, automation, and reporting efficiency.
  • Develop deep category and product hierarchy expertise to ensure correct attribution, reporting integrity, and meaningful business interpretation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing analytics capabilities, streamlining reporting workflows, and adopting automation tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Marketing Analytics, Information Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in CPG analytics, preferably within client-side or supplier-side environments (nutritional supplements experience is a plus).
  • Strong hands-on experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Power Query, and familiarity with SQL or other database querying tools.
  • Experience working with syndicated data sources such as Circana, NielsenIQ, SPINS, Stackline, or POS datasets.
  • Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and complex, evolving datasets and business requirements.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance analytics and reporting efficiency is a plus.
