This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Personnel ingénieur - Logiciel produit based in United States.

You will join a highly technical platform engineering environment focused on building and operating large-scale Kubernetes infrastructure across hybrid environments (on-premises and AWS).
The role is hands-on and centered on ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical systems.
You will collaborate closely with senior engineering leadership and internal stakeholders to translate business needs into robust cloud-native solutions.
Your work will directly impact platform stability, automation maturity, and deployment efficiency across global infrastructure.
You will contribute to the full lifecycle of Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, maintenance, and optimization.
This position offers strong technical ownership within a fast-paced, infrastructure-focused engineering organization.

Accountabilities:
  • Operate, maintain, and evolve Kubernetes-based infrastructure across on-premises and AWS environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Design and implement Kubernetes solutions in collaboration with senior engineers and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage cluster lifecycle activities including provisioning, upgrades, patching, and operating system maintenance.
  • Monitor platform health, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and drive root cause resolution.
  • Develop automation, tooling, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices to improve operational efficiency.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and ensure timely response to production incidents.
Requirements:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (RKE1/RKE2, CAPI), including operations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with AWS or other major cloud platforms in production environments.
  • Solid programming skills in Golang and Python for automation and tooling development.
  • Experience with GitHub for collaboration and GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows.
  • Proven ability to manage infrastructure maintenance, patching, and system upgrades.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience in hybrid infrastructure environments is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), Kubernetes networking, security, and observability is desirable.
