This is a high-impact role focused on shaping and executing a comprehensive fundraising and partnerships strategy across India.
The position plays a key part in expanding donor networks and securing long-term philanthropic support.
You will work closely with internal teams to translate program vision into compelling funding opportunities.
The role requires strong relationship-building skills and the ability to engage with diverse donor segments.
It combines strategic planning with hands-on execution across the full fundraising lifecycle.
You will also represent the organization in external forums, conferences, and donor engagements.

- Lead the development and execution of a national fundraising and partnerships strategy in collaboration with senior leadership, identifying new donor segments and growth opportunities.
- Manage end-to-end fundraising activities including prospecting, pipeline development, donor outreach, proposal creation, and presentations for institutional and individual donors.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with donors, ensuring consistent engagement, alignment with mission priorities, and effective stewardship.
- Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams such as product, programs, and finance to ensure alignment of funding strategies and timely donor reporting.
- Represent the organization in external events, conferences, and networking platforms to strengthen visibility and expand partnership opportunities.
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in fundraising, partnerships, CSR, or development roles within nonprofits, foundations, or corporate social impact functions.
- Proven success in securing and managing large grants or major donor relationships, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and funding proposals.
- Strong strategic thinking and execution mindset, with excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences including donors, leadership, and internal stakeholders.
- Master’s degree in public policy, business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field.
- Strong commitment to education and belief in its role in driving systemic social change.
