We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanic Shop Manager & Lead to oversee our maintenance and repair operations for heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and vehicle fleets. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of skilled technicians, ensure top-tier service quality, and maintain the operational readiness of our diverse equipment. Responsibilities
- Lead daily shop operations, coordinating repairs and maintenance for heavy equipment, vehicles, and industrial machinery
- Supervise a team of mechanics and service technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Diagnose complex mechanical issues using schematics, OEM manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Oversee repairs on excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, trailers, HVAC systems, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, and tire services
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain compliance with industry standards during all repair activities
- Document all repairs accurately in maintenance logs; prioritize work orders for efficiency

Requirements:Skills
- Extensive dealership experience with heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
- Proficiency in fabrication techniques including welding and soldering; skilled in using power tools and hand tools
- Strong knowledge of OEM schematics for diagnostics across automotive and industrial equipment
- Expertise in vehicle maintenance including transmissions, air brakes, alignment, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC systems, diesel engines, brake repair and tire service
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently; experience with heavy lifting is essential
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience; familiarity with automotive diagnostics is highly desirable
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on customer service; capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
