Job Title - Student Intern, Construction Services
Location - Chicago, IL

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Student Intern for our Transportation Construction Services Department out of our Chicago, IL office. This individual will work with senior engineers and inspectors on a comprehensive range of construction management projects. Experience will be gained on wide range of projects from local agency projects to major interstate projects.
- Assist with oversight of various infrastructure projects in the construction phase.
- Learn quality metrics, testing requirements, and construction inspection duties.
- Make field work calculations and daily reports in a format that can easily be checked by others.
- Coordinate work activities with other staff members assigned to a project.
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program with the ability to obtain Engineering-In-Training status; Construction Management emphasis is preferred
- Must be at least a college sophomore
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Driving record in good standing
- Able to work in a team environment
- Displays eagerness to learn new tasks and ask questions as needed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated organization and time management abilities
- Extended hours may be required, anticipated 40+ hours/week, but not guaranteed
(Hourly range for IL location)
