1st Shift: FULL-TIME

Pay: $21.00

Valtir is hiring a quality inspector to support our Fort Worth, TX manufacturing facility by performing quality checks of highway safety products.

Job Duties Include, but not limited to:

  • Inspect products and maintain documentation to ensure quality standards are being met
  • Work with shop personnel and supervisors to improve overall effectiveness of quality systems
  • Work with other departments to exchange quality information
  • Count, check and tag products according to company’s quality standards
  • Complete all quality records and follow company polies/procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Working Environment:

  • Conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy.
  • The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the plant.
  • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes.
  • Attendance and showing up to work on time are important to the success of the plant. Dependable job attendance is expected.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of quality experience
  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs. Must be able to work in a manufacturing facility standing most of the day.
  • Extensive experience in the use of inspection tools and measuring equipment
  • Reliable and predictable attendance
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all staff
  • Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently
  • Ability to function as a team member and establish and maintain effective working relationships
