About the Role:
A family in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a caregiver to provide support. The ideal caregiver will be patient, encouraging, and dependable, helping to promote daily activity and independence.

Seeking an experienced, dependable female caregiver for a fully mobile client with dementia. The client requires close supervision and a calm, mature caregiver who understands dementia-related behaviors and safety risks, including wandering. A prior caregiver was locked out of the home after the client left the residence, so attentiveness and consistent monitoring are essential.

Duties include supervision and companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and helping maintain a safe and structured daily routine. The home is very clean, smoke-free, pet-free, and there are no other residents in the home.

The ideal caregiver will have dementia-care experience, be patient and reliable, and be comfortable working independently. Russian-speaking ability is a plus but is not required. This client needs someone dependable who can provide consistent attendance and compassionate, mature care.

Client Needs
The client is fully mobile but experiences frequent seizures. The caregiver should remain attentive and available to assist if a seizure occurs. Prior experience with, or knowledge of, seizure care is strongly preferred.
Primary responsibilities include:
Light housekeeping
Meal preparation
Running errands
Transportation and accompaniment to doctor appointments
Monitoring and being available for seizure-related assistance
Providing companionship while watching television, especially westerns

The best fit is someone who is:
Female and preferably older/mature
Friendly, patient, dependable, and attentive
Experienced in caregiving
Comfortable supporting a client with frequent seizures
Comfortable driving for errands and medical appointments
Interested in companionship and watching westerns or television with the client
