LRW Concepts LLC is looking for a passionate General Manager to lead our neighborhood quick-service restaurant, bringing Southern hospitality, operational excellence, and a commitment to outstanding guest service.

An Arizona-based company specializing in restaurant management and operations, LRW Concepts is recognized for owning and operating acclaimed dining destinations that emphasize scratch-made cuisine, a dedicated team culture, and elevated guest experiences. Monroes Hot Chicken:

Monroes Hot Chicken is a high-energy, high-paced quick-serv restaurant that provides guests with hot, fresh, made to order Nashville Style chicken in a hometown environment full of flavors and tasty treats.

Known for its tantalizing flavors and spiced up seasoning mixtures, Monroes gives each guest the opportunity to enjoy southern friend chicken with a kick in an environment that offers guests on the move the opportunity for high quality dining in a quick-serve environment.

Position: General Manager

Location: In person required: 430 N Scottsdale Rd. Ste K, Tempe AZ, 85281

Shift: Open, Swing, Closing, Weekends, Holidays

Starting Base Salary: $55,000 $75,000 B.O.E

Expected Hours: 45 55 per week

Supervisory:Yes, Reports to Chief Operating Officer, Director of Systems and Operation

Position Summary:

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily restaurant operations to ensure consistently exceptional guest experience. This leadership role involves managing staff performance, maintaining operational standards, optimizing financial outcomes, and fostering a positive team culture. The General Manager sets the tone for service excellence, drives strategic growth, and ensures the restaurant operates efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with company values.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence

Direct daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency

Maintain high standards in food quality, cleanliness, and customer service

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies

Take ownership in creating and tracking value-based initiatives that add value to the job

Financial Leadership

Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial goals

Analyze performance metrics and implement strategies to improve profitability

Control inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships

Control food and labor costs, while ensuring P&L aligns with targeted goals

Team Development

Recruit, train, and mentor staff across all departments

Create a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven culture

Manage scheduling, performance reviews, and work with HR on personnel matters

Guest Experience

Foster a welcoming environment and resolve guest concerns with professionalism

Monitor service quality and implement continuous improvements

Build relationships with regular patrons and the local community

Marketing & Growth

Collaborate on local marketing initiatives and community outreach

Track industry trends and apply innovative strategies to grow the business

Develop and identify trends and changing community demands

What Were Looking For:

  • Experience in Food Service or Hospitality
  • Five (5) or more years prior experience in a fast-paced full-service restaurant role
  • Leadership Skills
  • Three (3) or more years proven ability to supervise, motivate, and guide a team toward operational goals.
  • Strong Communication Abilities
  • Clear and effective communication with team members, customers, and management.
  • Customer Service Excellence
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences and resolving issues professionally.
  • Time Management & Multitasking
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage shift responsibilities efficiently under pressure.
  • Business Acumen & Operational Knowledge
  • Five (5) or more years with POS systems, cash handling, inventory tracking, and shift reporting.
  • Problem-Solving Skills
  • Quick thinking and resourcefulness in handling unexpected challenges or customer concerns.
  • Flexibility & Reliability
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Food Safety & Sanitation Awareness
  • Understanding of health regulations and ability to enforce cleanliness standards.
  • Certification ServSafe
