ONE CAMPUS. NO SERVICE ROUTE. LEAD THE SECOND-SHIFT HVAC OPERATION.

Ready to move beyond traditional HVAC service management and step into a leadership role where you can actually build something?

Vanguard Resources, Inc. (VRI) is hiring an experienced HVAC Manager2nd Shift to lead and develop our HVAC maintenance team supporting the Samsung Semiconductor Campus in Taylor, Texas. This is not a traditional HVAC service role spent traveling from customer to customer or jobsite to jobsite. You’ll work at one dedicated, rapidly expanding campus, leading second-shift HVAC maintenance operations within a new, state-of-the-art semiconductor facility. We’re looking for a hands-on HVAC professional who has progressed into leadership but still understands the work from the field up. You should be equally comfortable developing technicians, setting priorities, troubleshooting HVAC issues, partnering with Samsung and Vanguard leadership, and stepping into the technical details when needed. As the Taylor campus continues to grow, so will the facilities operation. For the right leader, this is an opportunity to help shape the second-shift HVAC team, strengthen the maintenance program and make a visible impact on how the operation develops.

WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY STANDS OUT

• One dedicated campus — no daily service route • Lead the second-shift HVAC maintenance operation • Support the Samsung Semiconductor Campus in Taylor • Help develop and grow a high-performing HVAC team • Work in a new, high-tech manufacturing environment • Join a campus experiencing continued growth and expansion • Competitive salaried compensation • Relocation assistance available, if needed • Long-term opportunity with leadership visibility and room for growth • Work directly with Samsung leadership and Vanguard’s on-site and corporate teams • Strong emphasis on safety, preventive maintenance, equipment reliability and continuous improvement

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As HVAC Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll lead the day-to-day second-shift HVAC operation while developing the people, processes and standards needed to support a large, complex facility.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead with Safety as Priority One, reinforcing safe work practices and accountability across the HVAC operation • Supervise, coach and develop HVAC maintenance technicians while establishing clear expectations for safety, quality and performance • Coordinate daily maintenance activities, technician assignments and operational priorities • Oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of commercial HVAC equipment and systems • Provide technical guidance and hands-on support when complex equipment or system issues arise • Drive equipment reliability, system uptime and timely completion of preventive maintenance • Identify equipment deficiencies and coordinate appropriate corrective action • Ensure work meets applicable safety, regulatory, quality and site requirements • Partner with Samsung leadership to understand operational needs and provide responsive, customer-focused facilities support • Assist with recruiting, onboarding and developing technicians as the operation continues to grow • Collaborate with Vanguard’s on-site leadership and corporate teams on staffing, reporting, budgeting and operational initiatives • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and utilize CMMS/work-order systems to track work and equipment history

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for more than a strong HVAC technician. We need a credible, hands-on leader who understands commercial HVAC systems, knows how to develop people and can successfully lead in a high-accountability facilities environment. You should be someone who can earn the respect of skilled technicians, communicate confidently with client leadership, stay organized across multiple priorities and take ownership of the second-shift operation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of HVAC or facilities maintenance leadership/supervisory experience • Strong commercial or industrial HVAC experience • Strong working knowledge of HVAC preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair practices • Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach and develop skilled maintenance technicians • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and operational decision-making skills • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Experience managing multiple priorities in an active facilities environment • Experience using CMMS, computerized work-order or maintenance-reporting systems • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and related business technology • Ability and willingness to work the designated second-shift schedule • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record • Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment background screening and drug testing • Ability to walk extensively, climb stairs and ladders, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience supporting HVAC systems in a large commercial, industrial, manufacturing or mission-critical facility • Experience with systems such as RTUs, VAV systems, chillers and chilled-water systems • Texas Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor License – Class A (TACLA) strongly preferred • EPA Section 608 Universal Certification • OSHA 10 Certification, or willingness to obtain after hire • Experience working in a high-tech manufacturing or similarly complex facilities environment

• Supplemental and Disability Insurance

• 401(k) with Employer Match

• Paid Time Off
