Job Description
Education Requirements:
Required: Graduate of a university program where curriculum is twelve (12) months or longer, or grandfathered as a hospital medical dosimetry, or registered radiation therapy technologist with training in dosimetry under the supervision of a Board Certified Medical Physicist.
Experience Requirements:
3 to 5 years Experience Required. Experience with RayStation, Tomotherapy Planning, and MIM. Three to five years of experience in Radiation Oncology as a Dosimetrist. Will consider new graduates with preferred equipment experience. Thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and contouring on 3D data sets. Must possess the ability to evaluate radiographs, CT, MR, PET, nuclear medicine scans, etc. Advanced understanding of radiation biology and physics. Knowledgeable of cancer and its prognosis; knowledge of current radiation and oncology procedures; familiar with treatment planning software and the ability to do minor troubleshooting.
