Key Responsibilities:

- Communicate effectively with homeowners to confirm and verify the installation path to ensure a smooth process

- Install Fiber Optic Network Interface Devices (NIDs) and related hardware

- Install fiber optic cables through conduits, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures

- Repair and maintain existing fiber optic drop cables and hardware as needed

- Test and troubleshoot fiber optic connections to ensure optimal performance

- Document installation activities accurately and report any issues or delays

- Adhere to safety standards and company policies during all field activities

Skills and Qualifications:

- Prior experience in fiber optic installation, repair, or related fieldwork preferred

- Knowledge of fiber optic systems, tools, and safety protocols

- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and installation instructions

- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Physical ability to perform fieldwork, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in fiber optics is a plus
