Summary

The Project Manager Assistant will provide support to the Department Manager, Project Managers, and the department as a whole in all aspects of project execution. The ideal candidate will bring prior food service industry experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with job reviews, project documentation, and scheduling
• Learn and administer Word, Excel, Auto-quotes, and NetSuite
• Gather request for information materials & gives to PMs
• Assist with reviewing and processing change orders
• Coordinate installer schedules and logistics
• Bill of lading request
• Receive and check in equipment deliveries
• Track and review critical path and procurement status with PMs and installers
• Accompany PMs to job sites
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have prior food service industry experience (required)
• Prior project management experience desired
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (an Excel skills test will be administered), and efficiency in English & Math
• Must be very organized and detail oriented.
• Pleasant and confident demeanor when dealing with colleagues and clients
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
