$38.00 - $57.51 an hour - Per Diem Days, Various hours per week
*Range includes per diem differential. +$2.50/hr for weekend shifts.

Boulder Community Health is seeking an Infusion RN who functions as a direct patient caregiver within the unit's care delivery system, independently. The RN integrates nursing theories in patient care.

Qualifications
•Colorado RN license in good standing.
•BLS certification required by the end of conditional period
•Six months to one-year RN clinical nursing experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred.

Responsibilities
•Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as needed
•Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
•Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an understanding of the bio-psychosocial processes.
•Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition.
•Actively seeks participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care.
•Communicates clearly in all aspects of documentation. It is the expectation that all care providers document accurately and in real time, utilizing the electronic medical record within their department.
•Performs point of care laboratory testing. May be required to do moderately complex lab testing
•Collaborates with interdisciplinary patient care team to identify patient learning needs, develops and implements an individualized teaching plan
