Parts Delivery Driver in Apopka, Florida at FLORIDA UTILITY TRAILERS INC

Florida Utility Trailers is hiring a Parts Delivery Driver for our Apopka location. This role is responsible for delivering parts to customers and vendors accurately and on time, while also supporting the parts department with pulling orders, staging deliveries, and keeping the warehouse organized. You’ll drive either a regular pickup truck or a stake body truck depending on the size of the order. The ideal candidate is dependable, safe, organized, and customer-focused.

Key Responsibilities

Deliveries & Customer Service

• Deliver parts to customers, shops, and vendor locations on a scheduled route and as-needed basis.
• Load, secure, and transport parts safely using a pickup truck or stake body truck based on the order.
• Verify correct parts and quantities before leaving the store and at delivery.
• Obtain signatures/confirm delivery and handle returns/cores with proper documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and alert the team to any delays or issues.

Warehouse & Parts Support

• Pull parts for delivery orders and stage them for an efficient route.
• Assist with receiving shipments: check in parts, match packing slips, and report shortages/damage.
• Stock parts in correct locations and help maintain clean, organized warehouse areas.
• Assist with inventory counts and general parts department tasks as needed.

Vehicle Care & Safety

• Drive safely and follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
• Perform basic daily vehicle checks (fuel, tires, lights, cleanliness) and report maintenance needs.
• Keep the vehicle and delivery area clean and professional.
• Secure loads to prevent damage during transit.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable driving a pickup truck and stake body truck (as needed)
• Ability to lift/move parts (up to 50 lbs regularly; heavier items with assistance/equipment)
• Strong attention to detail with orders and paperwork
• Basic comfort using a smartphone for navigation and delivery confirmation
• Parts/warehouse experience preferred, but we will train the right person
