Accounts Receivable Clerk - Recaps Clerk in Spokane, Washington at Rosauers Supermarkets Inc

At Rosauers Supermarkets, we pride ourselves on providing our customers with the highest quality products, the largest selection, the cleanest stores and the friendliest service. We proudly serve the Inland Pacific Northwest, with 23 stores and over 2,000 employees throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.

Work Hours: Monday through Friday. Defined 8-hour shift between 6:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Audits the daily cash and sales report from all stores (26 store locations) and balances accounts accurately and timely.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
• Communicate with stores to help resolve issues when they occur.
• Responsible for multiple weekly and monthly reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Candidates must be 18+ years or older
• Complete a pre-employment background check

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Outlook
• Preferred experience with NetSuite or other ERP solutions helpful
• Retail grocery experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles and practices
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Works well in an office environment
• 4-year accounting degree or relevant experience preferred
