Staff of Life DELI- Dishwasher

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE:

1. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc. using machine and manual cleaning methods.
2. Ensure dishwashing area cleanliness, safety, and sanitation is maintained
3. Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine
4. Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas. Rewash soiled dishes before delivering
5. Change dishwater in dish machine every hour
6. Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand
7. Remove trash and garbage to dumpster
8. Set up or bread down dishwashing area
9. Clean and roll/unroll mats
10. Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
11. Sweep/mop floors
12. Assemble/disassemble dish machine
13. Conduct general cleaning and directed
14. Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry
15. Notify manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures
16. Do not touch dirty dishes before touching clean dishes without washing hands first
17. Put away produce and other ingredients, clean, and straighten up
18. Other duties as directed

Previous Kitchen experience preferred but not required
