Bookkeeper / CPA (US or AU Accounting)
We are building a select talent pool of highly qualified Bookkeepers, CPAs, and Accounting Specialists to match with growing international clients across various industries (such as creative agencies, e-commerce, hospitality, and professional services).

Schedule: US or AEST business hours
Location: Fully Remote
Engagement: Independent Contractor
Rate: Competitive USD hourly/monthly rates (scaled to experience and commitment)

What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage day-to-day accounts using platforms like QuickBooks Online or Xero, categorizing expenses, clearing backlogs, and maintaining up-to-date general ledgers.
- Generate and issue client invoices, track incoming payments, manage retainer billing, handle vendor bill payments, and issue reminders.
- Process international transactions and manage funds using multi-currency payment platforms (e.g., Airwallex, Wise, Stripe).
- Prepare clean monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow reports) across multiple accounts or revenue streams.
- Assist with tax filing prep and compliance alignment specific to US (IRS/GAAP) or Australian (ATO/BAS) standards.
Who You Are:
- Proven track record working with foreign accounts—specifically US or Australian (AU) clients.
- Background as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Specialist, or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Advanced hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.
- Practical experience handling multi-currency platforms (Airwallex, Wise) and international bank transfers.
- Flawless written and spoken English skills, meticulous attention to detail, and comfort managing remote workflows independently.
- Familiarity with US GAAP/IRS guidelines or Australian BAS/GST tax regulations.
- Experience in specialized niches like e-commerce, creative industries, SaaS, or professional services.
- Proficiency with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Google Workspace, Asana).
