What you'll do

1. Install commercial HVAC ductwork for new construction and retrofit projects.
2. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
3. Measure, fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal duct systems.
4. Ensure all installations comply with building codes, project specifications, and company quality standards.
5. Inspect completed work to verify proper installation and airflow requirements.
6. Work closely with other trades to coordinate installation activities.
7. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
8. Properly use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
9. Report project issues or material shortages to supervisors.
10. Complete daily work documentation and time reporting.
11. Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety policies.

What we're looking for

1. 2+ years of commercial HVAC duct installation experience.
2. Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
3. Experience installing sheet metal ductwork in commercial buildings.
4. Knowledge of HVAC installation practices and safety procedures.
5. Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces when necessary.
6. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
7. High school diploma or GED required.
8. HVAC technical education is a plus.
