The Security Task Lead (STL) provides overall leadership, coordination, and execution oversight for all security-related activities supporting DC3. This role ensures effective management and delivery of security operations across personnel, physical, information, and programmatic domains, aligning execution with DoD, Air Force, and DC3 requirements.
The STL serves as the primary interface between the Contractor and Government for security functions, ensuring high-quality performance, compliance, and continuous operational readiness.
- Lead and oversee execution of all security tasks, including personnel security, physical security, SCIF operations, security programs, COOP, and assessments.
Manage contractor personnel and subcontractors supporting security functions, ensuring performance aligns with PWS requirements and Government expectations.
Coordinate with Government stakeholders to ensure timely communication, issue resolution, and alignment on security priorities.
Establish and maintain processes to track performance, risks, issues, and compliance across all security activities.
Ensure all security operations adhere to DoD, Air Force, and DC3 policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor execution across security programs to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and areas requiring corrective action.
Support implementation and maintenance of security programs, including Industrial, Information, Personnel, and OPSEC/CUI security.
Oversee execution of physical security operations, including facility inspections, access control, visitor management, and incident response.
Ensure proper execution of SCIF security operations, including access control, inspections, escort procedures, and compliance monitoring.
Support development and execution of COOP planning, exercises, and continuity activities to ensure mission resilience.
Oversee security vulnerability assessments and compliance inspections, ensuring findings are documented and corrective actions are tracked to completion.
Ensure timely development and submission of required reports, deliverables, and documentation supporting security operations.
Proactively identify programmatic, technical, and resource risks, elevating issues to Government leadership as needed.
Ensure quality and efficiency of all contractor security support activities and continuous improvement of processes and performance.
- Active TS/SCI clearance eligibility
Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
Minimum of three years of experience managing a security program of similar size and complexity.
Demonstrated experience leading security operations across multiple domains (personnel, physical, information, and program security).
Strong knowledge of DoD, Air Force, and federal security policies, regulations, and compliance frameworks.
Familiarity with SCIF operations, ICD 705 requirements, and classified environment management.
Experience managing teams and coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders in a high-security environment.
Proven ability to identify risks, manage issues, and ensure compliance across complex operational environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with Government leadership.
- Experience managing inspection programs, security assessments, and corrective action tracking processes.
Knowledge of COOP planning, exercises, and continuity frameworks.
Experience supporting interagency or multi-organization security coordination efforts.
$150,000 - $170,000 a year
