This role offers the opportunity to shape intuitive, high-impact experiences for a developer-first observability platform used by engineering teams worldwide. You will design complex, data-rich interfaces that help users monitor, debug, and optimize modern applications with clarity and precision. The position sits at the intersection of product thinking, systems design, and deep technical understanding, requiring the ability to simplify complexity without losing depth. You will collaborate closely with product managers and engineers across the full product lifecycle—from discovery to production. The environment is fast-moving, highly collaborative, and deeply engineering-driven, with strong emphasis on ownership and craft excellence. This is a high-impact design role where your work directly influences how developers interact with critical infrastructure tools at scale.
- Lead end-to-end product design for complex, data-heavy workflows spanning observability, debugging, monitoring, and performance analysis
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to translate technical requirements into clear, usable, and scalable design solutions
- Design intuitive interfaces for metrics, logs, and traces while preserving depth and technical accuracy
- Develop and maintain component-based design systems and reusable UI patterns for consistency and scalability
- Drive product thinking across key user journeys including onboarding, instrumentation, troubleshooting, and runtime analysis
- Conduct user research and engage directly with developers and SREs to ground design decisions in real workflows
- Rapidly prototype and iterate using modern design and AI-assisted tools to validate concepts and accelerate delivery
- Contribute to information architecture, edge-case handling, and system-level UX decisions across the platform
- Ensure high-quality visual design execution while continuously improving usability and product experience
- 4–10 years of experience in digital product design, ideally in complex technical domains
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience designing and shipping data-rich, systems-oriented products
- Prior experience with developer tools, observability platforms, infrastructure software, or similar technical products
- Excellent ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, user-centered design solutions
- Strong understanding of design systems, component-based architecture, and scalable UI patterns
- Experience working across full product lifecycle from discovery to production delivery
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to design for scalability, edge cases, and technical depth
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and influencing product direction through design leadership
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional engineering and product teams
- Familiarity with rapid prototyping tools and AI-assisted design workflows is a plus
