Job Description
Job Summary: The 2nd shift PAC is responsible for maintaining all public areas in a clean, sanitary and attractive condition according to established standards of the Grand Harbor Resort & Waterpark. Processing laundry, and cleaning guest rooms as necessary.
Basic Criteria:
- Meet physical requirements of job including standing, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling (see detailed chart below.
- Must be able to read and understand written instructions.
- Must be able to work independently and responsibly to keep busy and be proactive on deep cleaning public areas.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled by manager.

- Stairwells North, South, Service
- Kidz Room 1st floor

- Outside garbage areas
- Community Room-2nd floor
- Corporate Lounge-7th Floor
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Follow daily procedures to clean assigned public areas to meet quality standards. Duties include but are not limited to: Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, cleaning glass, spot cleaning walls and doors, emptying garbage, wiping down public areas. Continually patrol areas to ensure all public areas are clean and presentable for guests.
- Clean body excretion accidents (Code 10) in public areas and Waterpark when called.
- Assist with laundry duties to start machines, transferring loads, stocking carts and folding items as well as making room runs and serving guest rooms as needed. (See Laundry job description and sign off on)
- Keep PAC cart stocked and ready for use. Stocking the Community room, front desk, and housekeeping with guest amenities and supplies.
- Keep equipment well maintained and ready for use such as keeping mop and bucket clean and changing vacuum bags when needed.
- Observe & report repairs by calling the housekeeping office and Maintenance.
- Keep radio on at all times. Answer radio calls in a timely manner and use proper radio etiquette when responding to a call.
- Use proper lifting techniques when lifting heavy loads.
- Promote and practice safety standards at all times.
- Maintain a clean and well groomed appearance at all times in accordance with departmental standards.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Learn understand and practice department standard operating procedures.
- Understand and practice the Big Ten guidelines.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Hours may vary depending on departmental staffing needs.
