UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our growing cardiovascular team in Morganton, North Carolina.

With new GE cath lab equipment, approved plans for cath lab expansion, a daytime STEMI program, and a strong referral network spanning three counties, this is an exciting time to join our program.

We're looking for an interventional cardiologist who wants to practice excellent medicine while helping us continue to expand access to advanced cardiovascular care for the communities of Western North Carolina.

A Schedule Designed with Physicians in Mind

Typical schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Friday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

• Call: Manageable call schedule

• Employment: Hospital-employed through Blue Ridge Medical Group

The Cardiologist We're Looking For

We're looking for more than someone to fill a position. We're looking for a physician who is excited about the opportunity to grow with a cardiovascular program and help shape its future.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology

• Collaborative and team-oriented

• An excellent communicator

• Committed to high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care

• Excited about contributing to the growth of an interventional cardiology program

Two to five years of experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
