Perch Energy has an immediate opening for a Manager of Subscription Management, reporting to the Director of Subscription Services and Market Operations. This role will be responsible for day to day support on utility partnerships and customers’ subscription sizing, and enrollment across a wide range of projects, states and utility programs. This role will also play a crucial part in ensuring the company meets key business objectives centered around project fill maintenance and revenue recognition. The ideal candidate is organized, creative and works proactively to engage internal and external stakeholders to deliver top notch service for our Developer Community.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Adhere to program, contract and internal policies for subscription sizing and allocation management, with a primary focus on timely utility submissions and compliance in Illinois, Virginia and Massachusetts
- Run routine analysis on credits produced, allocated, utilized and banked
- Monitor project fill rates for assigned markets, and collaborate cross functionally to maintain optimal fill rates
- Leverage desktop tools, utility forms, and our proprietary software tools to ensure edge cases and time sensitive requests from Developers and the Account Management team are processed in a timely manner
- Collaborate with a global team to ensure timely delivery of contractual requirements
- Perform QA/QC on new tools, existing reports and automation efforts
- Build relationships with utility representatives to maintain active community solar
- subscriptions and ensure accurate bill crediting
- Maintain knowledge base, ensuring critical information is kept up to date including:
- Solar project system information
- Schedules for customer enrollment submissions
- Deadlines for mission critical projects
- Complete compliance requirements and ensure timely submission for assigned markets
- Drive timely revenue recognition by working closely with the Manager of Bank Management to ensure credits banked at the host and customer account levels are redistributed
- Ensure all cases are resolved within our company’s defined SLAs
- Become a community solar subject matter expert and contribute to maintaining our knowledgebase of utility-specific operating procedures and regulations
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Math, Science, Environmental Studies, Data Analytics or a related field
- 2 years’ experience in an energy-related role; Community Solar or Renewable Energy preferred
- Above average MS Excel experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Proven track record of strong cross team collaboration
- Strong verbal, written, and analytics skills, rigorous attention to detail is a must
- Ability to problem solve, find creative solutions, troubleshoot and build out best practices
- Be flexible and excited to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving needs
